Vintage 1924 C.F. Martin Guitar Model OO-42

Up for auction to day is this vintage Martin Guitar
Model OO-42 serial # 21565 This serial number dose not match any of the numbers on any guitar web site that I have found.
I have wrote the Martin Guitar manufactures with all of these photos that you see here.
They tell me that it is ether an "O-42" or an "OO-42" the measurements they gave me closely match the "OO-42" model

I want to tell you that I am not a musician nor do I know any thing about guitars I am selling this for a friend who bought it at an estate sale.
I have been told that this a Parlor guitar and that it has been set up to play "slide" and that it is made with Brazilian rosewood and has Abalone inlay.
This guitar is not in perfect shape it dose have scratches and dings throughout. It will be shipped with a case probably not the original. I have it well packed in a sturdy box. Shipping will be $25.00 and insurance will be determined by the final bid price. If you need more photos or information I will try to provide you with them. This guitar will be sold as is. On Aug-08-04 at 17:57:04 PDT, seller added the following information:The tuners look to be original, no extra holes and the buttons look good, an off white with fine gray lines running through them like a "grain"
 If you are looking for the widest part of the guitar it is 14 1/4 ''
 I do see a slight curve in the neck
 The only place any trim is missing is on the neck just one piece. The rest of it all looks good.
 Its hard to tell with the hardware attached but there may be an ever so slight dome in the center where I have the tape stretched across.
