The Prom Princess Project collects new and almost-new formal dresses and accessories
and provides them, free of charge, to local high school students who are unable to purchase
their own prom attire.
We plan to distribute the dresses at a "boutique," where each student will receive
assistance from a volunteer as she shops for the dress of her dreams.
It is hoped that every young girl will be able to find the that special dress that will
make her feel like a princess... when she might not of otherwise been able to afford one.
A Junior or Senior Girl's prom is that most special night full of fun, friends, and
memories that will last their lifetime... no one should have to miss out on that opportunity
because they didn't have anything to wear....
You can be part of this project and help make someone's dreams come true!
Donations of gently worn formal dresses are needed, as well as shoes, hair accessories,
jewelry, and anything formal or prom suitable...
When the boutique is ready to go up volunteers will be needed to help organize the accessories and
dresses for the girls, and to help them choose the "perfect" dress. Volunteers will also
be needed to assist with hair or makeup ideas and tips....
This is your chance to be someone's Fairy Godmother!
