Have you ever dreamed of hunting pheasants in South Dakota? We would love to give the opportunity to hunt on our ranch. The Rooster Ranch is located in South central South Dakota “Pheasant Capital of the World.” You will enjoy a world famous South Dakota pheasant hunt. This will truly be a once in a life time hunt. The Rooster Ranch has over 3,000 acres of private land in prime pheasant country. Through our farming practices we have created a habitat that not only enhances pheasant populations, but also allows for a memorable hunt. You will be hunting for wild pheasants in milo, corn, cane, shelter belts, and CRP acreage. We have lodging located in the town of Dallas, SD, which is fully furnished with kitchen, laundry, satellite TV, phone, fax machine, and all the comforts of home. Within a few blocks of the lodge are 2 lounges and restaurants with nightly entertainment. Gregory SD, is located 4 miles away with lounges, restaurants, taxi service, hardware stores, gas stations, and many other stores to accommodate your needs. Your safety is our primary concern. A weapons safety refresher discussion is held each day prior to your hunt. We expect our guests to practice firearm safety at all times. Guns will remain unloaded until we enter the field to hunt. We pride ourselves on safety and take it very seriously. Blaze-orange upper body clothes and hats are required while hunting. Shooting or safety glasses are recommended. We want you to enjoy hunting exclusively with your family and friends. We prefer groups of 8-12 hunters, other sized groups are negotiable. Your dogs are welcome and kennels are available. All dogs need to be current on all shots, and should remain under the control of the hunter at all times. Call us today to book your hunt. Bookings and Deposit ( New Reduced Prices for 2008) A 50% deposit is required at booking with the balance due upon arrival. Deposits are nonrefundable unless vacancies can be filled. Prices 2 day hunt……695.00….3 day hunt 895.00….Non-shooting guests…$100.00 |
