From Helen W. Lee, August 2006 Hi all I've been meaning to write this for literally months but haven't had time until now. I just wanted to let you all know of a FANTASTIC pet transport company: Linderland, in South Dakota. It is operated by Bill & Judy Linder of Linderland Aussie Kennels and they are truly amazing people. My friend Maureen Bardwell needed to get 2 of her dogs from Massachusetts to Seattle and was given their name. Not only did they get back to her right away (most of the other transport companies either took forever to reply or never did) but they kept in touch with her constantly (almost nightly, if I remember correctly) both before and during the trip. They only make one trip per month but it is a true marathon. Judy and her daughter do the driving on a 24-hour shift basis, so they cover an amazing number of miles in a very short period. Not only that but they are VERY good with the dogs. They were supposed to transport both Maureen's dogs but ended up with only Ginger, as Maureen was told that Gigi had died a few days before Judy was supposed to pick her up. We have since found out that this was a total fabrication and that Gigi is still alive. In any event, Ginger arrived in Seattle spoiled rotten by Judy and her daughter, riding on her own HUGE bed (all the other dogs were in crates) and happy as a clam. In fact, they even bought a disposable camera so they could take pictures of her, they were so taken by her. I guess they'd never met a Borzoi before and, as is typical of course, they were totally enthralled. The weather was terrible when you had to come to NY and to say the least you are a trooper!! She has adjusted well and we are thrilled to have her with us. The extra attention you gave her was much appreciated. You and your family are wonderful pet loving people who go the extra mile in great transportation and care for the animals. From Karen Firlotte, June 2007 HI Folks I just wanted to say thank you to Judy Linder for the awesome service she provides for transporting our dogs from place to place. Judy just picked up a great little girl for me from NY, and transported her to Calais ME. The service was great, there were calls sent ahead, and they kept in touch throughout the trip. Zap arrived happy and not at all stressed. The cost would have been comparable to the transporting the dog to the airport and flying to the correct destination. Thank You Judy, I hope that you continue to provide this service, I know I would use it again without hesitation.
