Duane Reichert
Duane is a South Dakota native who has
brought laughter and entertainment to thousands of fans for more than 40
years. Duane is a multi talented man, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Elementary Education, is a live member of the PRCA, serves on the
Competition and Rules Committee, and the Contract Personnel Executive
Council of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Duane has received
dozens of honors during his career. In 1991, he received the prestigious
honor of being inducted into the South Dakota Hall of Fame. Duane has
performed in the movie, "The Great American Cowboy," an Oscar winning
documentary, and in Dan Seals music video, "All That Glitters is not Gold."
Duane's dedication to entertainment and young people has put his educational
talents to work with the program called "BACKSTAGE WITH A RODEO CLOWN." This
nationally acclaimed program has been presented to more than 1000 schools in
25 states and 4 Canadian provinces. Duane's unique ability to capture the
hears and minds of young people with his real life experiences as a rodeo
clown and with a little help from his South Dakota rodeo friends, has made
this program a tremendous success. Duane brings a meaningful message on why
not to experiment with or take drugs or alcohol. This video is narrated by
Boyd Polhamus, one of the nation's premier rodeo announcers and a
great friend of Duane's, who is a true believer in this unique and
worthwhile program for our young people.
