So you think it's pretty easy to saddle and bridal a horse do you?

Gather up four or five horses.... set them loose in the arena, then find four or five groups of hearty cowboys who are determined to get a saddle on these horses....

Put them all in the arena together........ and watch the fun begin! Catching them is the "easy" part.... now they have to get the horse to agree to wear that stuff...

Did we mention these were WILD Horses?

So what do we do with those horses now that we got the saddle on them?

RIDE'EM COWBOY! RIDE'EM!

Those who don't ride.......better clear a path!!!!!!

Of course........sometimes the horse wins the arguement all together.....

You think riding that bronc was hard?

Try setting your rear end on 2000 pounds of stomping, snorting mad, beef with an attitude! Who said being a cowboy was easy?

Now a cowboy (or cowgirl as the case may be)
and their horse have to be a perfect pair, working in unison, knowing what the other is going to do....
because this team may depend on each other in a pinch.... and to show the speed and agility of this match we have the barrel racing events... how fast can you weave your way through these barrels and get back to the gate???

Want to know where Cowboys and Cowgirls come from?

They come from little cowboys and cowgirls! Yep, even our youngin's get in the action. Most are set in the saddle before they even start to walk, and they grow up around this every day. They get their start in the rodeos Mutton Bustin'.... and let me tell you, it's harder to hang on than it looks!

Getting off is a little harder than getting on... but not by much

And some horses just don't want to give you a break..... or maybe they do ... literally

And this one was just too cute to pass up........
                                            Ok.......anyone else see that stop sign?

And sometimes you just get the feeling there's a quick prayer going up out there.... I was in the stands and you can bet I was adding one in too!
